BULKED UP PERFORMANCE

The Tour Series™ from JumboMax® helps golfers improve their rhythm and smooth out their tempo with an ultra-stable construction that acts as a counterweight.

With their increased mass, Tour Series grips can help golfers accelerate their hands through the impact area with less effort. This can help some golfers overcome tendencies such as an “early release” that lead to poor shots.

Other golfers prefer the Tour Series for its extra-firm design that delivers maximum stability for the tightest possible shot dispersion.

TRUSTED BY THE LONGEST HITTER ON THE PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS

“JumboMax has a great variety of grips that can help you hit the ball farther. In the same way you can go out and test different clubs and different shafts, you can now test different grips and get the maximum out of it.”

-- Retief Goosen, 2-Time U.S. Open Champion and World Golf Hall of Fame

DUAL-TEXTURE

Tour Series grips prove that firm grips can still be a pleasure to hold. Like all JumboMax grips, the Tour Series uses a StabilityCore™ to create serious performance at any speed.

The outer layer has a Dual-Texture pattern with a Raised Hex Pattern to bring added texture to the back and key gripping areas. A Cross Pattern on the top and sides of the grip maximizes tackiness and repels moisture.

WHAT BRYSON SAYS

“These grips are kind of a big deal to me. I won six professional tour events with them. If you’re looking for maximum stability, this is the grip for you. They just feel like you’re going to hit them straight.

For those of you into swing weight, the Tour Series is going to make the clubhead feel lighter. And that’s a really good thing for golfers who tend to get “quick” during the swing. The Tour Series will help you swing smoother and more in tempo, and we all know how powerful that can be.”

Hitting the ball better

With the switch to these and getting to swing them for the first time yesterday. I don’t have the death grip that I had when using smaller grips. Helped me stay consistent through my range session by not getting fatigued as fast. Definitely helped keep the ball straighter more often than not. Can’t wait to take them out on the course. Highly recommend if you suffer from over gripping clubs.

Test Sessions

I bought the small, medium, large and extra large to see what size fit my hand the best. After gripping a 3 wood, 3, 7 iron and sand wedge it was off to the simulator to test due to winter in Wisconsin. In the first 15 swings I was seeing a constant straight shot no matter how hard I was swinging. Then when I was playing a fade or a draw the ball was going the direction I was intending it to. When the ball did go haywire it was due to my lack of confidence in the shot I was playing. Easy fix now that I know what grip size feels the best for me. As for the reason why I bought a variety of sizes is due to price. In stead of buying a complete set blindly at a cost of close to $200 with tax and shipping costs I wanted to make sure I was correct on the size of grip leaving nothing to chance. After all the testing I was confident in buying a set of Large as they were the most comfortable size in my hand. Yes I know that I have wasted 3 grips I will not use for a season but with a cost of a sleeve of 3 premium balls pushing $15 in my area I will be saving money on 3 rounds or less. This cost savings is due to my confidence in my ability to swing without having any worry about the ball flight which means less lost balls in the woods. All the courses I play are in heavy forest areas with little or no chance of finding a ball hit into them. If you are looking for new grips I suggest getting a variety of options in the range you might want and swing them.

Promising Results

I've got long fingers, and have often felt like I just wasn't getting the best grip on the club, even with normal jumbo grips. Recently I decided to buy and test out a JumboMax grip (size L) on a 7-iron that's similar to the one in my set. The results are promising! Here are a few thoughts:

(1) More of my hands are actually in contact with the grip now, which is helping me feel the position of the club face as I swing back and through.
(2) I notice less tension in my hands and forearms, which allows me to take the club back and swing it through without thinking so much about grip pressure, how I'm holding onto the club, or how I need to manipulate the club face for a square strike.
(3) Thicker grips can make it tougher to square the club face. During my first practice session, I definitely left the face open a touch on a few shots. (Normally, my miss is to turn the club face over and hook it a little.) So there will be a bit of a learning curve, at least for me.
(4) I noticed a slight reduction in feedback compared with my other grips, which might simply be a result of the greater thickness of the JumboMax grips. It's not a deal breaker by any means. I just like receiving feedback when I contact the ball. If you look at it another way, it could be viewed as a plus, because the thicker grip can dampen more vibration on off-center strikes.

Overall, I'm very happy so far, and I think after more practice I'm going to want to regrip my entire set with JumboMax grips.

Skeptical

I was skeptical at first so I tried the jumbomax Xs first on my 7 and 9 iron, with a few swings I started to swing straight instead of my normal hook, will definitely get more for my other irons and hybrids, possibly my driver, I’m recommending it to my friends and brothers, I’m glad I saw this on YouTube thank you!
